Summary

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst to join our agency at The Ohlmann Group. You would be a key member of our digital strategy team responsible for working with our incredible clients to create and implement marketing strategies that help them achieve their business goals. That means producing meaningful marketing KPI dashboards and delivering monthly, cross-channel performance reports with actionable insights that give our clients the data they need to make smart decisions. In this role, you will also conduct conversion optimization reviews, with the aim of improving the effectiveness of clients’ digital marketing strategies and increasing ROI. You don’t necessarily have to come from a web analytics background, but you should have an excellent, in-depth level of knowledge in digital marketing, along with experience in strategic and analytical processes of digital campaigns.  Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Identifying client objectives and advising on measurement strategies
  • Benchmarking performance across all online channels
  • Using methodical performance analysis to influence/support campaign strategies
  • Representing The Ohlmann Group in client meetings and pitch presentations
  • Assisting in educating clients on the benefits of digital marketing and the importance of online measurement & performance optimization
  • Developing custom marketing dashboard concepts for client reporting via software tools, and reporting results to clients in person or via conference calls
  • Analyzing the effect of different online and offline channels on each other and developing and implementing innovative strategies for improvement and growth
  • Analyzing online user behavior, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution
  • Performing ROI analysis to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of different marketing campaigns

Additional Responsibilities

  • Providing consultancy on campaign tagging and additional on-site tracking
  • Spotting potential to implement innovative new methodologies and improve analytical process
  • Using available data sources to troubleshoot campaign performance issues and propose optimization tests
  • Working closely with the media team to identify and explore opportunities to cross-sell services and support new client acquisition
  • Collaborating with the design and development teams for on and off-site conversion optimization projects
  • Partnering with the content marketing team to enhance client reporting and performance measurement and conducting detailed analysis work when required

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience in working within a marketing/business intelligence environment
  • High level of experience working with analytical software (e.g. Google Analytics, etc.)
  • High level of experience in data analysis techniques, and advanced Excel skills
  • High level of experience working with Google AdWords and other paid search platforms
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing client reports and presentations
  • Experience in identifying and validating strategic and tactical marketing objectives
  • High level of experience in measuring and analyzing online marketing campaigns including: organic and paid search, email, video, display and social
