Leadership Changes at The Ohlmann Group in 2016

We here at The Ohlmann Group are pleased to announce some leadership changes effective January 1st, 2016. Wishing a warm welcome to all of our new staff, and a hearty congratulations to our leadership team. Here’s to another 60+ years!

DAYTON (December 16, 2015) – Since its founding in 1949, The Ohlmann Group, Inc. has continuously evolved in response to changing market conditions. Today, Walter Ohlmann, President and CEO of the agency for the last 30 years, announced a leadership realignment to position the agency for future growth.

Among the changes taking effect January 1st, 2016 will be Walter Ohlmann’s shift from President and CEO to Chairman of the organization. The company’s new CEO will be Linda Kahn, who most recently held the position of Senior Vice President, Media. She is an award-winning expert in all areas of media, and when asked about her new role, said, “We have always provided our clients with exceptional marketing and media services, from negotiation to post-evaluation. We plan to continue delivering excellence in everything we do.” In addition to her promotion, Kahn will be retaining her duties as head of the agency’s media department.

Chief Marketing Strategist David Bowman will move into the position of President. During his six-year tenure with The Ohlmann Group, Bowman has been responsible for a number of major client acquisitions. He has also been instrumental in providing clients with a truly integrated marketing approach. “Here at The Ohlmann Group, we’re all about creating the future for our clients,” Bowman said. “It’s a pleasure to be a part of leading the agency’s future, too.” Bowman will continue to provide strategic marketing services to clients.

Jim Hausfeld, the newly appointed Vice President of Creative Services, has been with The Ohlmann Group for six years as Creative Director. Prior to this, he spent nearly 23 years creating memorable ads and commercials in a variety of media. Hausfeld said, “Our constant goal is to deliver the right message in the right medium to the right audience at the right time, and that’s what marketing is all about.” His appointment will bring all of the agency’s creative services under one roof.

Finally, Mike Blackney will move from his role as Digital Media Manager into the position of Vice President, Digital Marketing. Blackney will lead the agency’s ongoing digital marketing placement, SEO services, and digital reporting metrics. Blackney added, “It’s all part of performance accountability, which is requested by our clients and becoming more and more important because of rising media costs.”

In addition to these leadership changes to accommodate increased volume of business and support future growth, the agency also recently added the following staff members to expand its service capacity:

These leadership changes will ensure that we are able to provide for the anticipated growth of our company, both today and in the future.”
