Mercury Rising: 8 Awards and 14 Nominations

ON May 20, 2015

Last night, the American Advertising Federation – Dayton (AAF-Dayton) recognized the region’s top advertising professionals at the 2015 Mercury Awards. We are proud to announce that Ohlmann Group employees received 14 nominations across nine categories and took home top honor in eight of them. The accolades are particularly significant because Mercury Award winners are nominated and selected by members of AAF-Dayton. It is a great honor to be recognized by our peers in the industry. For our part, we would like to thank our clients. It is only through their trust and support that we are able to channel our passion for advertising.

Take a look at the slideshow below to see some highlights from the event:

Jim Hausfeld was also nominated for the Unsung Hero Award, which recognizes individuals who make consistent contributions “Behind the Scenes.” Though that award went to longtime AAF supporter Fred Tuzzi, Jim was recognized with the night’s highest honor, the coveted Vendor of the Year award.

The 2015 Mercury Awards also recognized volunteers who made an impact on AAF-Dayton. Supporting the local advertising industry is a core value of the Ohlmann Group. We believe everyone benefits from a stronger community of advertising professionals. Five Ohlmann Group employees were recognized as outstanding volunteers: Andy Kittles, David Bowman, Jim Hausfeld, Linda Kahn, Meghen Welly and Walter Ohlmann.
