What’s In A Name?

ON July 22, 2011

We’re excited to announce that we’ve changed our name from Penny/Ohlmann/Neiman to The Ohlmann Group.  With the name change comes a whole new look, new logo, new branding, some social sites and a brand new website. We are thrilled to share all of it with you, and hope that you like the new direction.

The circular O design of the logo was chosen for several reasons. It represents the company president, who has been with the agency  since 1964. The circle also symbolizes creativity and infinite possibility, principles that are foundational to the culture of the organization. Finally, the logo represents the concept that all of the services offered by The Ohlmann Group are systemically connected to create unique value for clients.

The change is more than just cosmetic in nature.  It truly symbolizes the shift we have made from a traditional advertising agency to an innovative provider of comprehensive strategic marketing solutions.  We are all very excited about the future direction of the company and the amazing opportunity for growth we have as a member of the Dayton marketing community.

We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the years.  While much has changed, our commitment to giving our clients exceptional service and meaningful results remains steadfast.

This post is the first of many that we’ll make under our new name.  We look forward to sharing ideas, starting conversations, and expanding the possibilities of modern marketing.  Our work has just begun.  Join us as we create the future.
