Health Care with Heart

CareSource is a one of the leading non-profit managed care health plan providers in the United States, serving well over one million people in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. In 2014, the company celebrated its 25th year of providing “health care with heart.” And, to commemorate the occasion, they asked The Ohlmann Group to create not just an Annual Report, but a historical keepsake which gave readers insight into the company’s amazing growth and commitment to their mission.

Rather than using charts and graphs and data, we told the CareSource tale through the personal stories of five people – customers and employees – that were affected by CareSource in 2013. Through a unique manner of storytelling, we showed how health care has changed for the most underserved of our population in the last 25 years. And, most importantly, it demonstrated that, despite its impressive size, CareSource still cares most about the individual, one-on-one triumphs that they help create for the people that they serve.
