Addy Arrives In Dayton

Ahhh, those miracle workers of Madison Avenue… they really do know what they’re doing! It was at their hands that Dayton’s own Penny/Ohlmann/Neiman Advertising received their “just awards”. Yes, two Addy Awards made Penny/Ohlmann/Neiman the only locally headquartered agency listed among the winners in the awards competition sponsored by the Advertising Club of New York.

The awards were received in the sales promotion category for two Dayton accounts; Top Value Enterprises for a matchbook presenter featuring the company’s gift catalogs and for radio station WTUE announcing their call letter change-over from WONE-FM.
The competition was hot and heavy, but leave it to Dayton’s own to score big one of the country’s most prestigious advertising competitions.

Penny Ohlmann Neimann

The Ohlmann Group has a rich history that began in Dayton, Ohio in 1949, where the agency was founded as Penny and Penny by Bob Penny and his wife Jean. In 1964, Walter Ohlmann joined the firm. Ralph Neiman came on in 1969 and the firm became Penny/Ohlmann/Neiman. In 2011, P/O/N was renamed The Ohlmann Group to better reflect the agency's ongoing evolution and collaborative nature.
