Celebrating 50 years
It was a June day in 1953 when Victor Cassano, Sr. prepared his first pizza. At the time, Vic owned a small grocery on Schantz Avenue. His customers kept asking him to make pizzas using the recipes of his mother-in-law, Mom Donisi. And finally, he did. He made pizzas all day long because they sold as fast as he could make them. Sales that first day – 400 pizzas. And a new business was born.
Today, the company is still operated by the Cassano family. The chain has now grown to 35 stores throughout the Miami Valley, with new stores opening nearly every month. The menu has been expanded well beyond pizzas and subs.
Congratulations, Vic Jr. and Sharon, on this milestone anniversary. We’re proud to be part of the team.
