Greater Dayton Region Project

How do you feel Dayton is portrayed in the national media? Ask around, and you may find that the perception of Dayton outside of our city is of a dying rustbelt town. Where are people getting that idea? How can we let people know about some of the incredible people, businesses, and projects going on in this area?

Dayton business owner Michael Schuh of Michael’s Salon and Spa has partnered with The Media Group at Michael’s on a project to change how the Dayton region is perceived in national media. The project is called The Face of Dayton.

The Face of Dayton has been created to raise awareness of some of the incredible things the Dayton region has to offer, and will feature the extraordinary people who live, work, play, and do business right here in Dayton.

The project is already getting some attention. Dan Edwards and the Channel 2 News team aired some primetime coverage of the effort.

Schuh is asking local Dayton businesses to help keep the momentum going by sharing website links with the site and connect with the Face of Dayton page on Facebook.
