Instagram is taking advantage of Snapchat’s viral idea by offering eight new filters for Instagram stories, including animals, glasses and different types of crowns. The feature can be used with either the front and back camera. With Instagram collections, users can compile saved posts into one handy location, making them easier to find and revisit anytime. Collections are private, so you can’t see what other users save, and you aren’t notified with they save your content. You can use collections to save user-generated content related to your brand such as photos from users who posted with your hashtag. You can also use collections to gather inspiration, much like a Pinterest board.
