Two ad agency groups align: Intermarket Association of Advertising Agencies

The Intermarket Association of Advertising Agencies (IAAA), an affiliation of 19 full-service, U.S agencies – including Dayton-based Penny/Ohlmann/Neiman, Inc.- recently formed an alliance with the Paris-based international advertising partnership, CrossWorld. The move is aimed at providing integrated marketing services worldwide.

CrossWorld consists of 12 European agencies, with more than 300 employees and $250 million in annual billings. CrossWorld provides marketing expertise to both consumer and business-to-business advertisers on a national and international basis.

IAAA also has a long standing alliance with the Trans-Canada Advertising Agency Network, consisting of 24 agencies covering the Canadian markets. The U.S and Canadian networks have met jointly on several occasions to discuss mutual problems and solutions facing agencies in addition to exploring services the two networks can provide to each other.

Founded in 1967, IAAA members range in size up to $35 million in annual billings. Membership is limited to 25 agencies in the U.S.
