Fast and Furious Event Marketing
The AAF-Dayton Vision Statement lists their goal as “to be recognized as the preeminent source of education, self-regulation, and excellence for the advertising and marketing community.” However, most of its nearly 200 members would agree that the networking and social activities are a major reason there is such enthusiasm locally about the club. In an effort to engage the design community deeper into the organization, they created the highly popular Pinewood Designer Derby, asking local companies to re-create the Pinewood Derby cars of their youth with today’s latest design skills.
AAF-Dayton asked The Ohlmann Group to create a logo for the 2014 event and we delivered, creating a sleek logo that appeared on all promotional materials and participant tee shirts. We were proud to contribute our talents to this deserving organization that promotes the best of advertising. As a side note, we were also proud to take home the award for Best Designed Car for a cool steam punk creation by our Senior Art Director Andy Kittles.
