Making a Classic Brand Sparkle
For nearly 50 years, Trimbach’s Body Shop has claimed the title (and tagline) of “the “finest in collision repair.” In 2012, The Ohlmann Group was asked to re-energize the brand and its brand marks using their signature pink accent color. The end result was a fresh logo that combined the gloss black and sleek metal simulating the finish of a new car. To help re-introduce the brand, The Ohlmann Group created a series of simple billboards featuring tongue-in-cheek headlines that lightheartedly poke fun at their craft.
Now, years later, and over 50 billboards later, the campaign continues to gain popularity throughout the Dayton region, spurring discussion on social media, headline submissions from customers, and a series of advertising awards for its originality.
