OG Gives Back: HTC

ON September 11, 2024

HTC (formerly Hannah’s Treasure Chest) has been enriching the lives of children in need since 2001. The nonprofit provides care packages filled with essential items, including clothing, books, diapers, toys, and accessories, to families across 20 counties in southwest Ohio.

In 2023, HTC relocated to a 35,000 sqft building in Miamisburg with warehouse space to support the distribution of more than 400,000 items annually, supervised by over 75 core volunteers. The new building, made possible in part by a donation by the Tom and Lori Hausfeld Family Foundation, is now The Kacie Hausfeld Center for Children’s Basic Needs.

Ohlmann Group volunteers spent an afternoon cleaning and assembling gently used toys to ensure that children receive toys that are ready for play and families have the dignity of quality gifts for their children. Our crew also prepared baby cribs for easy assembly and pick-up by social workers and others who help HTC connect with families in need.

Thanks to generous donations by the community of funds and gently used clothing and toys, in 2023 HTC provided local families with:

  • 1,073 strollers and car seats
  • 4,854 games and puzzles
  • 10,249 pairs of shoes
  • $706,515 worth of used clothing
  • 307,025 diapers
