Work Henny Penny

FULL FLAVOR AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

Employee-owned Henny Penny is one of the world’s largest commercial foodservice equipment manufacturers. Headquartered in Eaton, Ohio since its inception in 1957, the company’s main campus has seen substantial growth in recent years. Within walking distance, Henny Penny’s Eaton location boasts a showroom, production facility, training centers, engineering labs, a test kitchen, a research & development incubator, a care clinic, and state-of-the art team spaces.

A tour of the Henny Penny campus is a highlight for any client. It often includes a guided walk through the company’s advanced facilities, a visit with their friendly employee-owners, and a delicious meal created by Henny Penny’s on-staff chefs. The experience is truly second to none. However, the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to those visits, leaving the company with no options for sharing what’s truly remarkable about its culture and approach to foodservice equipment.

Cooking Up Something Special

Henny Penny needed a way to give its clients the flavor of a campus tour while still being respectful of travel restrictions and health concerns. Our creative team at The Ohlmann Group turned to technology to provide clients another way to learn about the company’s people, products, and history. We designed a standalone virtual tour website that features extensive video tours of the three buildings on the Henny Penny campus in Eaton and details the Henny Penny family of products.

Beyond the tours, we wanted to communicate the unique features that make Henny Penny exceptional. To do that, we produced shorter videos that take a deeper look at Henny Penny’s emphasis on partnerships, community investment, and the well-being of its employee-owners.

A New Recipe for Connecting With Clients

At a time when clients couldn’t physically experience Henny Penny’s culture, the new virtual tour website created a unique and valuable alternative. Long-term, the new website extends Henny Penny’s reach, allowing the global company to introduce visitors to what makes Henny Penny special even if a trip to Eaton isn’t on the table.

After a tour of the Henny Penny campus – whether in person or virtual – it’s easy to see why the world’s biggest brands in food service trust Henny Penny.

“From planning through execution and launch, everything was tightly coordinated and monitored.  The website was finished on time and on budget; there were no surprises.  We are so grateful that our new site really represents our company’s vision and brand, and we were able to tackle many of our other priorities at the same time.”
