We were honored to receive the 2015 Humanitarian of the Year Award from the United Way of the Greater Dayton Area.
United Way Associate Vice President, Tracy Sibbing, presented the award at the annual Big Thanks event at Sinclair Ponitz Center on April 12th. This event was held in appreciation of all of those who contributed to the 2015 United Way campaign.
The 2015 Humanitarian of the Year Award was one of several awards given during the night to members of the community. Of this particular award, Sibbing said, “This award is given to an individual or company who goes above and beyond in making a positive impact in our community.”
At The Ohlmann Group, we take great pride in being part of the Dayton community, and have made it our mission to give back whenever possible during our 67-year history. It was an honor to be recognized for our work with the United Way of the Greater Dayton Area.
In 2015, we created a book to celebrate the 100th year of the United Way in Dayton which showcased the inspiring and impressive work of these agents of change. “To be associated with United Way of the Greater Dayton Area is an honor in itself,” said Gary Haschart, Senior Art Director for the agency, “and to receive a recognition like the Humanitarian of the Year Award is especially humbling.”
