Dayton’s “best-in-business” list for multiple categories has begun announcing the official winners. The 2012 Best of Dayton voting is still currently active for anyone who would like to place their votes and recognize a business deserving the top spot in it’s category.
A BBQ restaraunt, OinkADoodleMoo, in Troy must relocate because of a couple hinderances involving location inconvenience. The store was on the wrong side of the highway as well as a store exit/entrance default, making it hard to get in and out of the parking area. The owner is, however, very optimistic about opening several other locations in the surrounding Dayton/Cincinnati area. After all, the Englewood location was noted on the “Hot Little Restaurant Chains You Can Buy Into Now” list by Forbes as one of only five small chains in the entire country.
A social media briefing on how to better your business through technology will be held at the Dayton Metro Library on July 31st. This event will inform business owners on how to increase traffic volume and ranking for websites.
Three Dayton-area companies have advanced to the national round of the Social Madness competition. The Dayton bracket winners consist of: Scene75 Entertainment Center (small companies), Young’s Jersey Dairy (medium companies), and Teradata Corp. (large companies). The national round kicks off July 24.
